An early 19th century brass inlaid rosewood breakfront bookcase retaining the original grey ‘Arabescato’ marble top above a brass strung frieze with ornate brass inlaid central tablet and four inlaid blocks leading down to square tapering columns with ornate brass inlay, having a single door with later brass grille and green pleated silk panel enclosing two adjustable shelves; flanked by open ends with two adjustable shelves each side and terminating in original brass hairy paw feet to the front and turned feet to the back.
