, 309pp, , map. Full sprinkled calf, raised bands, spine in six panels, author and title in ink to first panel, covers with blind double fillet border, all edges red. Minor chipping to head of spine, slightly rubbed to extremities, tiny amount of loss to leather to upper cover, some loss to leather to lower cover with small burn. Slightly browned to page edges, otherwise internally quite bright and clean. No pastedowns, with old printed pages used as backing material showing. Engraved title, with the folding map and illustrations to text. First published in 1615, Sandy's work enjoyed great popularity and by 1673 had gone through six editions.
