Purchased directly from the artist in 1987.
Pam Masco was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, USA in 1953 and studied at the Boston Museum Fine Art School. Between 1980-1988 she worked for major London publishers, illustrating for authors including Bruce Chatwin, Daphne du Maurier, V.S.Pritchett, William Moon, Maise Mosco, Naomi Jacob and many more. Through this work she met and later married the distinguished English illustrator John Heseltine.They lived for many years at Grafham, Sussex.
