The Casters are baluster in form and stand on cast spreading feet. The pull off covers terminate in a cast bell finial and are pierced with scroll work and plain roundells, as well displaying trellis work engraving. The large caster would have been used for sugar and the two smaller ones for pepper. Each piece is engraved with a contemporary Crest. Samuel Wood was a specialist maker of casters.
