An early 19th century richly decorated Coalport porcelain shaped oval dish. This fine piece is beautifully decorated in polychrome colours with a centre bouquet of summer flowers on a white background.

The scalloped edge has a dark blue background with raised flowers in the white and fine gilding throughout. The painting is attributed to Thomas Brentnall who was a former flower artist at Derby.
Good condition
The pattern is illustrated in Godden's 'Coalport' colour plate 111 and also illustrated in Godden's 'British Porcelain' plate no: 180
