The retailer Edouard Henry Dreyfous, born in Paris but based predominantly in London, sold antiques and furniture as well as objets d'art, some of which were marked with the firm's stamp. He held a Royal Warrant, and both Queen Alexandra and Queen Mary patronised Dreyfous. Aside from his main shop in London, he also had premises in Paris and New York.
