The Cream Pail has slightly tapering sides and a corded rim. The sides are beautifully pierced with unusual trailing scrolls, the first time we had seen this design. The arched handle is pierced with ovals and this piece has a blue glass liner. The pail is very well marked in the piercing and is in excellent condition.

Height to the rim: 2.45 inches, 6.13cm.
Diameter at the rim: 2.6 inches, 6.5cm.
