The Skewer is cast and the blade is of an exceptional gauge. The end is also cast and modelled as a drapery ribbon. This is an uncommon design for a skewer and is in excellent condition, displaying very crisp hallmarks. It would appear that John Payne specialised in the production of this design, as we have had examples from his workshops in the past.

Length: 11.5 inches, 28.75cm.
