The Vinaigrette is broad rectangular in form with rounded ends and a raised cast foliate edge. The sides are decorated with reeding and the cover and base with engine turning. The cover also displays a rectangular cartouche engraved with a set of contemporary script initials. The interior is very well marked and displays a very unusual grille pierced and engraved with a foliate spray and flower head.

Length: 2 inches, 5cm.
Width: 1 inch, 2.5cm.
