The Coffee Pot stands on a circular applied spreading foot, which is decorated with a narrow gadrooned band. The main body has a baluster form and rises to a waisted neck. The cast spout is beautifully decorated with leaf capping on the top and underside and the fruit wood handle is attached to the main body with a lozenge and shell moulding. The high domed cover is decorated with gadrooned and reeded bands and terminates in a stylised artichoke finial. The front of the main body is finely engraved with a contemporary Armorial surrounded by a foliate scroll and shell cartouche. The Arms are those of the Hallam family. The Coffee Pot is very well marked on the base and with the sterling mark on the cover. James Young and Orlando Jackson were exceptional makers, as is shown with the quality and design of this piece. They were only in partnership for a very short time, therfore examples of their work are very scarce.

Height: 12 inches, 30cm.
Length, handle to spout: 8.25 inches, 20.63cm.
