| Item Description / Dealer Expertise |
The Salver is of a large size and stands on four cast panel feet decorated with bold beading and displaying scroll ends. The raised rim is decorated with cast and applied bold beading and the centre of the salver is engraved with a contemporary Armorial, with Crest above. The Salver has an excellent patina and is very well marked on the reverse. The Armorial and Crest are those of the Boulton family who had seats in County Yorks, Lancs and at Mount Boulton, County Waterford. They impale those of the Jadwin family, possibly for a marriage. |
