The domed lid with a lovely cast rose finial. One side engraved with a monogram (see pictures).
The whole standing on a raised circular foot.

Hallmarked for Sheffield 1868 by Martin, Hall & Co. The lid, handle, finial & nut are marked with the lion passant and makers mark.
The marks are clear and very well struck.

This very attractive coffee pot in absolutely original condition with no damage, erasures or repairs.

This beautiful coffee pot is of a good gauge and has a lovely colour and patina by highly collectable makers of very fine Victorian coffee pots.

Height (to top of finial): 10 inches or 25.5cm
Width (handle to spout): 9.5 inches or 24cm
Diameter at widest point of body: 6 inches or 15.25cm

Weight: 28.4 oz or 804g (including spacers)
The gauge of the silver is very good and the lid fits extremely well with no lateral movement to the hinge. The handle is firm with only minimal ageing signs to the spacers.
A few very minor bruises to the lower bulbous part of the body which are hardly noticeable.
Excellent detail to the decoration.
