THIS PRETTY OAK BOSS HAS THE ORIGINAL RED GROUND SHIELD WITH THREE WHITE ROSES. (POSSIBLY YORKSHIRE)

A PAPER LABEL TO THE BACK READS "THE RIBBLESDALE ARMS THREE ROSES, GISBURN"
ALTHOUGH GISBURN IS NOW IN LANCASHIRE HISTORICALLY IT WAS PART OF THE WEST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE. THE RIBBLESDALE ARMS WAS BUILT IN 1635, BUT IS NOW A PRIVATE HOUSE.
