The Penner has a most outstanding silver mounted shagreen case with silver upper bands and an oval cartouche engraved with the contemporary script initial "A". The hinged cover opens up to reveal a removable silver pen, with gilt nib, and a domed cover which, when unscrewed, reveals the ink reservoir. This example is probably the finest of its type we have offered. A very desirable piece in excellent original condition.

Length: 2.45 inches, 6.13cm.
Width: 1.15 inches, 2.88cm.
