The Teaspoons are of a most unusual design and are modelled in the Hanoverian style. The shaped stems display a raised bearded male mask surrounded by Rococo shell and scroll details. The reverse of the stem displays foliate designs and a vacant Rococo scroll cartouche. The reverse of the bowl displays a raised shell and scroll back and the stems are marked with the maker's mark and sterling mark. The spoons are in quite excellent condition. A very rare set of George II Spoons.
