A Victorian novelty Inkwell in the form of a Milk Churn, ivory and silver-mounted with a silver mounted glass liner. The ivory body is applied with an oval panel with the title 'Ink' in blue enamel. London 1879, George Henry James and Josiah James. A trace of gilding on the catch of the churn.
A Cites certificate required for export. Some countries do not permit the importation of antique ivory items.
Good apart from some staining to the ivory around the base. Minor shrinkage to ivory.
