A Superb Victorian Antique Silver Tea Strainer. Hallmarked London 1839 made by Rawlings and Summers of London
This rare stunningly presented Victorian silver tea strainer is fully hallmarked London 1832. It has a fully functioning spout clip; it was designed to swing freely from the spout to catch the tea leaves, an ingenious little item.
This would make a fabulous addition to any Silver collection or perhaps as an unusual present for a tea lover. Height from basket to top of handle 2 inches 5.5 cm
