Slightly later full russian calf, smooth spine, divided into six panels by gilt rules, title in gilt to second panel, rectangular gilt device made of up volutes to remaining panels, covers with gilt single fillet border. Spine faded, slightly rubbed to extremities. Very lightly browned internally, last one hundred or so pages have a light water stain to top right corner but fairly unobtrusive. From the library of Earl Eldon, with his name and bookplate to front pastedown. Eldon is one of the dedicatees
