The single cockbeaded drawer having later brass ring pull handles and orginal twin pin lock above two mahogany doors with later brass grills raised on slender ring turned feet with original brass castors. This is a fine quality piece of furniture which was owned by "Lady Edward Hay" of Hyde Park Garden W2 London and we have been able to obtain the original receipt from when she purchased the bookcase from the London antiques firm 'Owen Evan-Thomas Ltd of 20 Dover Street' dated 28th February 1937.
In excellent original condition having been wax polished this lovely quality piece of furniture not only comes with its own bit of history but also has the most wonderful patina and colour.
