An unusual late 19th Century mantel clock in the style of Lewis Foreman Day.The case, made of solid olive wood, and has a gallery top and quartered raised panels around the dial. The hand decorated dial is typical of designs by the well known Arts and Crafts designer Lewis Foreman Day. It has an 8 day gong striking movement made by Japy Frere.
The case is in original condition, there is a slight repair to the case above the 11. The movement has been serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a video clip of this clock ticking and striking please email us.
