A fine and rare miniature double fusee William IV Rosewood Mantel Clock signed on the dial and the back plate Alexander Purvis, North Audley Street, London. The gadrooned moulded top with brass cast pineapple finial above an applied fan fronted door, chamfered brass corners and a bevelled sight ring. Standing on a moulded plinth and bun feet, side viewing windows and bevelled brass edges. Enclosing a silvered arch top dial with finely engraved floral decoration, roman numerals and superb original heart shaped steel hands. Fronting a large 8-day double fusee 5 pillared movement striking the hours on a steel bell, the back plate signed and fitted with a heavy pendulum and locking nut. This is a superb and very rare un-touched original clock which is fully working and sold with a 12 month guarantee.
Fully restored condition.
