An exquisite mid 18th century French bonboniere of a hunter painted in pale enamel colours with rabbits laying beside him on a mossy green ground. This charming peice is silver mounted and on the underside the oval panel depicts raised flowers, in the interior of the bonboniere are decorative single flower motifs. Possibly by Mennecy.
