A George III cow creamer, London 1763, maker's mark of by John Schuppe.
The romance of this wonderful silver model is first seen in ceramics at the Chelsea Porcelain factory in the 1740's and is first prodecd by John Schuppe, a Dutch imigre worker in 1753. Jeeves and Wooster's story of The Code of the Woosters by P.G Wodehouse bring this wonderful novelty to light in a amusing tale in the late 19th century.
