Aberdeen.
A Salver, circa 1755, struck with a town mark and a maker's mark for George Cooper.
Engraved with contemporary initials 'Jo R' above 'JR' above 'D'.
Good overall with some wear to the flat-chasing and some marking of the surface of the salver. Crazing on the reverse of the salver appears original: the result of impurities in the alloy.
