A set of four George III silver-gilt wine coasters, London 1804, makers mark of Digby Scott & Benjamin Smith. Retailed by Rundell, Bridge & Rundell.
Each finely cast sides of trailing fruiting vines and laurel above swag bands, the bases with engraved with a full achievement of arms, on turned wood bases, inscribed Rundell Bridge et Rundell Aurifices Regis et Principis Walliae Londini Fecerent. Engraved with an unusual variant of the shield, crest and motto of Ball, of Lincoln's Inn, London.
