The Beakers are plain in design and circular in form, with slightly tapering sides. Each has a gilded interior and is engraved, in the Scottish manner, with a contemporary Crest with the Motto "Toujours Prest - Always Ready" above. The beakers fit perfectly inside each other for travelling and may well have been used while out in the field. Each is in excellent condition and displays a full set of hallmarks on the main body. Graduated sets of beakers are rare and seldom appear on the market.
