The box is oval in form and has a fine quality heavy star cut base. The pull off cover has silver gilt mounts and a glass plate on top of a beautiful pierced and engraved panel of silver gilt pluming scroll work. The silver disc cartouche is engraved with a contemporary mirror cipher. The box is the finest we have ever offered and is in excellent condition. A beautiful piece for the dressing table.
