An Exceptionally Fine Berlin (KPM) Desert Service Of Reticulated Design Painted with Scenes From La Fête Galante in the Manner of François Boucher and Jean-Honoré Fragonard.

This very fine porcelain Dessert Service is comprised of twelve creamware porcelain plates and a large two handled platter, each with a reticulated border and green and gilt decoration. The centre of each plate is painted with scenes of young couples enjoying leisurely pursuits, in the manner of the fête galante, after the paintings of François Boucher and Jean-Honoré Fragonard.
