This very fine example is of tapering hexagonal form with an eye and slot and small "cup" spatula at the end. Beautifully engraved on the front and the reverse with scratch engraved designs, including a stylised flower head. Bodkins are very often unmarked, however this example does possess an unidentified single letter "G" maker's mark.

Length: 6 inches, 15cm.
