This very rare Spoon is beautifully modelled as an "Anemone" and the silver gilt panelled bowl is modelled to simulate the flower head. The stem is modelled and textured to simulate the foliate stem. This example is in excellent condition and is engraved on the reverse of the stem with the initial "B". The spoon is fully marked in the bowl. This design hardly ever appears on the market and a similar example, of the same date, is shown on Plate 57, figure b of "Caddy Spoons" by Captain John Norie.

Length: 3.4 inches, 8.5cm.
