This very rare snuff box is made from a deer antler which has been mounted in silver, with a plain silver base and hinged cover, the edge of which is modelled to follow the shape of the antler. The silver gilt interior is of the finest quality and is very well marked, both on the cover and the base. Antler Snuff Boxes are very scarce, however to find any Snuff Box being made in Sheffield at this date, is extremely rare. This piece is in excellent condition and is of the finest quality.
