These very rare servers have a double rectangular blade, the bottom one being plain in design and partly pierced with nine tines. The top blade is attractively engraved with an outer foliate band and a vacant crossed laurel branch cartouche. The Servers are in excellent condition, are very well marked and have an Old English Thread pattern handle. This is the first time we have offered a pair of these rare servers. Similar examples, both Irish, are illustrated on page 261 of "Antique Silver Servers for the Dining Table." A very rare serving piece.
