The main body of the beakers is constructed from horn and has a slightly tapering form. Each has a plain silver rim and the sides are most unusually decorated with a hunting scene which spirals down the sides. The scenes depict the huntsmen and horses in full period dress following a pack of hounds in full cry in a rural landscape with trees and stylised dwellings. The base displays the running fox with bushy tail. The top displays the engraved name of the original owner J*DAVIS 1828. The Beakers are in excellent condition and are rare survivors from this period.

Height: 4.6 inches, 11.5cm.
Diameter at the rim: 3.45 inches, 8.63cm.
