An unusual wool-work picture depicting a scene within a parkland setting including a gentleman [who is entirely stitched in silk] standing before a red brick country house - enriched with a formal rose garden enclosed by iron railings and a gate. In the front left foreground is a stream which ambles beneath a stone bridge. The parkland looks rather windswept as if ravaged by a recent storm. The picture is displayed in a period Burr-Maple Frame
