The Vinaigrette is broad rectangular in form and is shaped and engraved to simulate bound bamboo. The cover and base are engraved with chequered designs and the cover also displays a rectangular cartouche engraved with the name "Maria". The incuse sides are decorated with attractive prick dot bands and the interior grille is pierced and engraved with floral and foliate sprays, contained in semi circular frames.

Length: 1.45 inches, 3.63cm.
Width: 0.9 inches, 2.25cm.
