The attractive pierced decorated scroll setting display a central 0.48ct six claw set oval cabochon natural opal flanked by two claw set Old European round cut diamonds.
The flared ring shoulders which integrate in to the setting are ornamented with two smaller diamonds and a scrolling, shaped groove design.
The decorated ring shoulders blend seamlessly with the plain 18ct yellow gold hallmarked ring shank.
The interior of the shank is clearly hallmarked with full English hallmarks including the 18ct gold mark, gold guarantee mark (crown), date letter for 1870 (P) and maker's mark (L&L).
This fine and impressive 1870's three stone ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
