A very good pair of 18thc lever-action Nutcrackers, with the makers stamp T.B. for Thomas Bingham of Birmingham. These well made Nutcrackers are punch decorated, baluster and ring turned with bowed terminals, they are stamped on the inside of the handle. Thomas Bingham worked firstly at 12, New Hall Street, Birmingham and then 54, Steelhouse Lane, Birmingham, between 1770 and 1790, he was a maker of Nutcrackers and Buckles.
