The surface of this antique beaker is embellished with an embossed illustration of a cockerel above the contemporary engraved inscription 'Chemnitz 1908'.
The upper portion of the body is encircled with the embossed presentation inscription 'Ehrenpreis Der Spratt's Patent Act-Ges. Rummelsburg-Berlin 0.'*.
* This beaker was presented as a prize from the animal feed manufacturer Spratt's Patent; this recipient was also awarded with other items for works with poultry/fowl.
