The brooch has been modelled in the form of two wheatsheaf tied with pavé set ribbons.
The 18 ct white gold stems of wheat are ornamented with a total of twenty-two individually four claw set Old European round cut diamonds, reproducing the features of the ear.
The 18 ct white gold ribbons that tie each sheaf together are embellished with a total of eight pavé set Old European round cut diamonds, graduating in side dependent on their position upon the ribbons.
This versatile 1930s brooch may be worn as a single item, or as a matching pair.
Both components may be held on the unifying, 18 ct yellow gold slide to be worn as a single item, or removed from the frame and worn separately via the hinged locking double pin fastening to the reverse of each.
The manner of the fastening allows the brooch to be separated and worn as hair ornaments if so desired.
This impressive brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 ct gold.
The brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
