The masonic cufflinks have a square cut cornered form.
The anterior face of all four cufflinks are ornamented with blue hot enamel accented with iconic Freemasons symbols of the square and compass* in gold.
All the links have subtle rim.
These antique 1930's hallmarked cufflinks articulate via a five link chain to the reverse.
The hallmarks include the 9ct gold hallmark and the makers mark (A.W.M).
NOTE* 'The Compass, as the Symbol of the Heavens, represents the spiritual portion of this double nature of Humanity…and the Square, as the Symbol of the Earth, its material, sensual, and baser portion.”
Albert Pike, 'Morals and Dogma of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry'.
