A very unusual painted panel of an Alpine ski scene. The scene is of a skier on the crest of a hill with pine trees and mountains behind. The mountain in the centre is probably Mont Blanc. The shape and the construction of the panel suggests it may have been a gate or part of a gate. It has an interesting restoration above the skier but is otherwise in quite stable condition considering that it must have lived outside for most it's life.
A fine unique piece of artwork.
