Antique Bureau Bookcase

Very nice early 18th century walnut antique bureau bookcase with quarter cut veneers and feather banding to all drawers, unusually this piece is not actually a bookcase but is fully fitted out with a cabinet of drawers above the bureau, all the drawers and central door also have feather banding around the edge and there are several secret compartments, three old locks all have keys and work fine, lovely wobbly hand bevelled glass and even rarer still, even the bun feet look original. This is a wonderful piece of furniture with lovely colour and patination, these photographs do not do it justice, English circa 1710
