Indian silver makers mark P&Co for Pittar & Co, lion passant, Roman A and workers tally mark. Circa 1825-1848.
With Calcutta marks stamped underneath for Pittar & Co, the silver grade is likely to be between 800 and 900 parts pure silver in a thousand but could possibly be as high as 925 which is sterling silver.
