The pieces of this tea and coffee service have a plain oval rounded form.

The flared upper rim of the coffee pot, cream jug, sugar bowl and tea caddy are ornamented with an impressive gadroon border accented with a shell and scroll design to each corner.
The shoulders to the teapot and coffee pot are encircled with further gadroon decorated borders; matching the design to the rim.

There is some crazing to the finial and handle resistors as expected in keeping with age; this does not affect the integrity of the pieces.
The embossed and applied decoration is very sharp.
Full hallmarks struck to the underside of each piece and part hallmarks to the covers are all clear in keeping with age; due to their location there is some partial wear to the hallmarks, they remain legible however.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these impressive examples of antique teaware.
