This stunning antique Edwardian oak library bookcase ca 1900 is of unusual low proportions being only six foot high and has been constructed by the renowned cabinet makers Marsh, Jones & Cribb, Leeds. The antique library bookcase has a moulded cornice (couple of minor old repairs, not noticeable) above three beautiful glazed doors with moulded panels and five adjustable shelves in total. The lower section of the antique bookcase has a low waisted rectangular moulded top above nine oak lined drawers with brass swan neck handles. The antique bookcase stands on a moulded plinth, has original oak back boards, a key and working locks and splits into two sections for ease of removals. This beautiful piece of antique furniture is a rich golden oak colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
