The shaped bowl of the sifter is embellished with fluted decoration accented with pierced swirl motifs to one side.
The interior of the bowl of the ladle is gilded.
The sugar sifter is fitted with a King's shape handle ornamented with applied gadroon decoration accented with a scrolling leaf decorated vacant cartouche.
The reverse surface of the handle is plain.
The silver sugar sifter is fitted to the original leatherette presentation with a velvet and blue satin lined interior, securing with a hinged catch.
The interior of the box features the retailer's mark 'The New Nautilus Sugar Sifter, Pat No 17124'.
