The body of the bowl is embellished with fine and impressive embossed and chased decorated floral and foliate festoons in addition to floral sprays, all suspended from ribbon designs.
The decoration to the body incorporates a shaped scroll and leaf bordered vacant cartouche to either side.
The body and foot of the bowl are each ornamented with an applied moulded border to the rim.
The foot is encircled with an impressive band of embossed and chased floral decoration.
This fine example of antique silverware is fitted to a circular ebonised wood plinth, encircled with a vacant silver inscription band; the band may be engraved with a personal inscription if so desired.
