The lower portion of this fine teapot is embellished with a plain incurved border incorporating fine and impressive embossed fluted decorated Akroter style designs.
The surface of the waisted shoulders of this teapot is plain with an impressive gadroon decorated border to the rim.
This Finnish silver teapot is fitted with a flush hinged domed cover, which also features opposing embossed fluted designs to the domed portion; the flush hinge indicates the fine quality of this piece.
The cover is surmounted with the original carved, shaped, fluted painted wood and sterling silver finial.
This teapot is fitted with an impressive C scroll silver handle with a plain rounded thumbpiece.
The teapot is fitted with an impressive plain swan necked spout.
This fine example of silver teaware retains the original gilt interior.
