The Antique English First Period Worcester oval baskets have yellow-ground pierced trellis sides. The baskets are painted on the inside with a large bouquet of spring flowers of puce, iron-red, purple, yellow and green, and scattered brightly colored sprigs around the sides.

The exterior has applied blue-centered puce-coloured rose florets on the yellow ground. The moulded handles on either side are in the shape of twigs, with finely painted large applied flowers and leaves at the terminals.
