The pendant has an oval design accented with applied floriated decoration to the upper border, and incorporates a hinged locket compartment for a personal memento or keepsake.
The anterior face of this impressive pendant is ornamented with bud and leaf style setting accented with a feature pear Dutch cut diamond to the central flower, flanked by two oval Dutch cut diamonds to the smaller flowers.
The leaves incorporated in the feature design are embellished with a further nineteen smaller Dutch cut diamonds.
An applied scrolling motif accented with bright engraved decoration completes the arrangement.
This exceptional example of an antique gold locket is suspended from a contemporary, 18ct yellow gold, 46cm/18" trace chain via a tapering, leaf decorated loop.
The chain may be replaced with a chain of the same quality, in a style or length to meet your personal requirements.
Due to the style of the pendant, there is a strong probability of French origin.
